Thumbs up Thin alum. carry grips for CZ P-01/PCR/75B compact

I recently bought some thin aluminum grips for my CZ P-01 and wanted to pass the info on. They are from CZCustom's website: http://czcustom.com/CZ_75-compact-th...r-checker.aspx
These grips are very thin, compared to the factory rubber grip panels (which I never really cared for), and give the gun an almost single-stack feel to it. I really like the boarder checker design on these grips (he also has these thin alum. grips in non-checker style on his site). The checker design is more decorative than anything (they are not grippy at all, so your cover shirt won't get hung-up on them, but their not so smooth that they are slick feeling either (even with a sweaty hand, holding on to the gun should not be an issue with these grips)). About the only draw back to these grips that I have found, is that they conduct cold/heat, so if you carry IWB, like I do, you will want to wear a thin tucked-in t-shirt, like I do with all my guns, so you don't fell the cold grips pressing on your side . Anyway, here are a few pics of my CZ P-01 wearing the new grips:

You are right, aluminum grips look very nice, but unfortunately they conduct cold and heat. I have the thin cocobolo half checker grips on my Shadow; they are very thin and look very nice too.
