Went to the range today to run some rounds through my M&P40c. While I was signing in I saw a guy that was trading in what appeared to be a brand new Glock 17. When I asked him about it he said he bought it, ran 50 rounds through it, didn't like it and was here trying to trade it towards a 1911. The range offered him 275.00 trade in. I offered him 300.00 and got a new glock :) I orginally was going to trade my M&P45c for a M&P9 full size but since this G17 basically landed in my lap I couldn't pass it up. I don't think the glock ergo's hold a candle to the M&P line but the glock trigger and reset are leaps and bounds better.

Every once in a while, we stumble into something we should have had all along. Congrats on your sweet deal, and getting into a G17 you otherwise might not have! Never look a Glock in the muzzle. LOL! Best of luck with it.
50 rounds might be an over statement, congrats on the new weapon Rollo

You were in the right place at the right time. Even if you don't want it, you should be able to make some money when you sell it.
I bought a G36 from a guy at work and sold it with in 2 weeks for $150 dollars more than I paid for it. Funny thing is, now I want one.
Congrats on the good deal.

Very cool. You can't beat that price with a stick! Essentially a brand new Glock for $300 is crazy, man. Congrats Rollo!

Went shopping for a Glock 27 on Friday. Went into a tiny little store (in a gas station) to see what they had. They had one. Said they had ordered it in for someone 6 months previously. Never had been picked up. They wanted to move it and so we're willing to "let it go for their cost". Their cost is apparently $540. I said, "Bye bye".
$300 for a G17. Wow, what a steal.
We're all in favor of reducing violent crime. It's just that pro-gunners have a method that is proven effective. Anti-gunners don't.

For $300 bucks, I'd buy a G17, and I don't even like Glocks, nice snag. Guess your small, but effective collections is growing, first your SBS, now this.
