I just can't get over those slide serrations... they're hideous.

I don't like the serrations either, and I really do like Kool Aid.

I really LIKE those serrations! I recently bought a G22 RTF2 and was PO'd that it didn't have them. Apparently, Glock changed back to the standard serrations pretty early on. That must be an older RTF2 and mine is a newer version.

I could care less about the serrations, they don't affect function or reliability, only looks. And there's uglier guns out there than Glocks. It's the RTF2 I don't like. Very rough--too rough and aggressive for my taste. The Gen 4 RTF is much better.

I wasn't sure that I was going to like the RTF2 myself, but man does the gun "stick" to your hand. Now that I'm used to it, I wish all of my Glocks had it. I did however, end up "knocking off" the poly-mids on the lowest 1/5 of the grip, the part that clears my IWB holster...a few hits with some 220 grit sandpaper took care of it. Now, only the little finger on my strong hand touches a slightly smoother surface.

Man, I'm with you! I think the RTF2 is the best thing that has happened to a Glock in a long time. Like you, I like the look and function of the new serrations much better than the boring straight cut.

I just looked at the link; I guess $450 is a good price, I can buy the same thing locally for $499, but the tax I'd have to pay would be double the transfer fee I'd have to pay, so that would be a $75 savings.
