Very Nice!!! Polishing up wheel guns is a really rewarding and fun project. I've polished many of my revolvers. You got a great deal, Congrats

Here's what I think. I think stainless Ruger revolvers are about the most beautiful guns in the world!

I have two SP-101's and a 3" stainless Speed Six with Hogue combat grips, and I wouldn't trade or sell any of them for anything. They will be passed on to my heirs when I die.

You did a fine job on that Security Six. And it's gonna be a great pistol for you. Congrats!

    **sad update***

Well while talking to my buddy today, he informed that he doesn't want to sell this gun. ....GASP!!!....WHAT!!....I know but here is his reasoning and I feel that if I did not respect it that I would be the worst friend ever.

This is the second handgun he ever bought. It has been with him for about 30 years or so. It has sentimental meaning to him and he does not wish to part with it. I suggested that he think about that before finalizing anything. I totally get it as I will not part with my first firearm. I'm not heartbroken because I can borrow and shoot anything in his collection any time I wish. And on the bright side for him its coming back being bright and shiny. I can now put that cash toward a different model now. Thanks for following along and I'm gonna try to answer some comments lol.

Vice is not attached to the table and the table is very portable lol so I can have it in bedroom, living room, kitchen, WHEREEVER!! lol

It's a shame to give it back because of the post that said I would get great joy out of giving them this gun....sorry! you just missed out lol

    OK thanks again.

Nice job polishing the gun. It looks great. And you got a great deal. I would take my friend out to dinner as well for giving you such a greast deal on the gun.
