Range report: 2 Kimber Raptor Pro II's

I have been trying to get to the range for several weeks--drove out 2 weeks ago and got within about 1/4 mile, but was stopped by 6' + drifts

So, finally squeezed in some time yesterday. Cold, dark gray clouds scudding along, wind blowing about 20 mph. I'm the only one there (I wonder why )?? All the near target stands are shot to pieces or non-exisitant, so I staple the target to the 50 yd boards and pace off 21', sit down and fire two mags each. After those 4 mags, I fired extra mags standing, just to see if I had any FTF or FTE--both guns were flawless. They are KEEPERS

The LGS's have started to carry the Raptors. They are good looking guns and based on your pics, shoot as good as they look. Might have to add one to my list...

Yeah--I think they shoot better than I a currently capable of. I notice that even when trying to be really careful, I tend to pull all my shots to the left.....

Memories of snow piles taller than me, and cold that turned deisel fuel to jello, hydraulic fluid to ice, and that made metal radio antennas snap like twigs...ahhh...wonderful Ft Drum.

Does Kimber still call for a break-in period? Last I read, it was something crazy like 500 rounds??

Yeah-they still recommend that---they were really fun to shoot--so go ahead, twist my arm and make me go to the range
