If it only occurs with one brand & type of ammo, it is the ammo. Besides being smelly and leaving a yellowish residue with certain calibers, UMC tends to be a bit mild, especially in 9mm. Maybe it's better these days but I've avoided buying it for a while now.

It's an ammo problem, not only did I experience what you did but I also had feed problems, bending the bullet. I alsoseen a pic on I believe the glock talk forum showing the exact same thing with UMC ammo.

I have the same issue with UMC ammo with my Glock 26. I don't see a huge problem with it seeing i only use it at the range. Heck, just gives me a little bit more training I say.

I Never have this Kind of Problem with my .357 mag revolver...
Never fails to Feed, no slide problems, no saftey problems.
If it ever fails to go BANG, just pull the trigger again.
Maybe you should trade it in ona ruger GP100, or a smith+Wesson 686?

I'd love to have a Ruger GP100. Love to. It's probably the next gun I buy. But I'm not sure I'm ready to trade my G19 in yet.

I went to the range and shot up a bunch of American Eagle 124 grain, Federal Hi-Power (old red box) 115 grain and a bunch of 115 WWB; all of it was both fine and dandy. It's the UMC. I still have about 80 rounds or so of UMC 115 JHP, but I'll blow through it next time I'm outdoors and can shoot at something other than paper.

That wasn't an offer to trade, was it krazykeny?
