    Smith and Wesson 669...

Have any of you guys ever had a 669.

They are old guns, but for an auto, they are still one of my favorite ccw's. The capacity is ample and they just fit my hand well and shoot well for me.

I saw a nice one at a local gun shop today that got me to thinking about them again. Might have to break it out of the safe for a ride around the block.

In 1984 I bought one for off duty,I liked the compact 12 round deal,When I went to shoot it the trigger pulled so far to the rear it actually pinched my skin between the trigger and trigger guard, only way to stop it was to use the very tip of my trigger finger.I traded it in after 2 weeks for a 1911 Combat Commander

    Great S&W 2nd generation gun.

My first carry gun was a 6946, I still have more rounds through it than any other gun I own and is one I will never sell.

Carry it... I do have a square trigger form for the 669.

I had a 6906 and loved it. Carried it on duty and then concealed after the department went to manditory Glocks. Finally gave in and started carrying Glocks off duty and sold the 6906 to a friend who now loves it and gives it a good home.

This little S&W was one of the better earlier small pistols---still good today---especially if you already own it and some magazines, holsters etc.

I won a 6946 in a raffle many years ago. I added a Camp 9 to the collection and it was my SHTF setup for years. I lucked into a bunch of magazines for cheap during the ban when a local department changed out and sold a ton of pre-ban 59 and 69 mags for almost nothing. I should never have sold the Camp 9, and I still have the 6946.

6906 was my first CCW, hated the loose trigger in SA but a mighty fine firearm if you ask me. Traded it for a bunch of auto tools and two snap-on torque wrenches, kinda wish I hadn't but I have gotten a lot more use out of the tools than the 6906.
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.
