    - Buffalo Bore .380+P specifications are better than some .38 special loads.

    380 Auto +P Ammo - 100 gr. Hardcast F.N. (1150fps/ M.E. 294 ft. lbs.)
    380 Auto +P Ammo - 90 gr. Jacketed Hollow Point (1200fps M.E. 288 ft. lbs.)

Bark'n and tokerblue, I know what you're both saying and agree they are a defensive option. I have a friend that wasan agent for the DEA and state agencies and he's told me numerous stories of being under cover and packing and using various firearms, saw kills with .22lr, etc. It easy for me warm up to a 45 or 40, but it takes me longer with the .380 options. And I know it shouldn't be due to round count etc, but it's generally easier for me to like .38sp options than .380s. I know all handguns are not ideal if you know you're going to a fight...it's always about compromises when talking about handgun options.

I'm glad I don't limit myself to just one of any caliber or gun!

OP, have you gotten the gun to the range yet? How did it shoot? What about reliability. I appreciate your input.

I really like the looks of these and am considering one as a BUG. I do wish S&W had made one in 9mm.

Right...I wonder if the big guys (Ruger, Smith, Springfield, etc.) are going to start all making single stack 9mm's pocket guns like the Kahr and Keltec rigs that are just a tad bigger than the LCPs, BGs, P3ATs but pack 9mm instead.
