New Mouse Gun - S&W Bodyguard .380
After researching and getting input here and on other forums, and seeing S&W's price drops, I bought a BG 380 at the Ft. Worth Gun Show yesterday. One vendor had them, test fired in late-November, EAFXXXX S/N run.
$339.
I plan to hit the range later in the week and will post a range report then.
So far I can say the revised on/off buttons for the laser work easily - early ones were apparently pretty difficult to use according to some reviewers.

Between that and some trigger issues, the BG380 has taken its share of hits in the reviews. Hopefully it all gets resolved in short order. Good luck with your new acquirement.

Post a review and some pictures after you get a chance to shoot her. Always interested in range reports from new owners!
Enjoy it.

What revised laser switch buttons?? I have an EAA serial number. I found that after sighting the laser in at the range, I could put rounds in about a 5 inch circle at 10+ yards - which ain't to bad for an old guy. The gun is really easy to carry - light and small - but it does have a bit of recoil, muzzle flash and a looong trigger pull. You have to get used to the idea that it's desigened as a self defense gun pocket pistol type of weapon. You got a VERY good price!
Let us know what you think of it after a trip to the range.

I looked at the S&W's too but went with the Ruger LCP. Love it!

Sounds like a great gun, but...
Glad to see they teamed up with Insight Technologies for the laser. They are a top notch company.
Congrats!

Oh yea!!! $339 is a heck of a deal!!!!! That's just a tad over what wholesale and shipping would cost a dealer......

I played with one at the gun shop last Saturday. Not real impressed with the looong heavy trigger pull. It made me think sarcasticly, "I'm going to do grip exercises to smoothly control this trigger!". (Yea...let the wimp comments begin).
In the other hand I have a hard time taking .380s seriously... The one think I really like about all of them is their small package (baring the hipoints).

I'm just busting your chops here, but how seriously you think you'll take it when you're staring down the barrel of one?
Because that's where I'm likely to be sticking mine... and they'll likely get a full magazine right in the face!

A .380 is good for a loud knife fight!
I went with the Sig p238. The trigger on the MA complaint version of the Bodyguard is VERY long and chunky.
