Thank everyone! I really like this Colt. Unfortunately the pictures do not show how beautiful this pistol is.

I love my 1911's but they're both Rock Island Armory's. Not complaining but there's just something almost magical about saying "Colt .45!"

    Beautiful gun!

lol yeah...I AM screwed... I had the 1911 fever and now its a full blown disease for which there is no cure... When I went to pick up my Series 70 they had just gotten an O1918 in like yours. I had a huge hole in my heart over the fact I could only afford to take one home that day! Its only the beginning too... Especially when there are:

    WWI reproduction (O1911 and 1918)
    WWII Talo
    Rail Gun? Why not!
XSE - Yep, beavertail and night sighs sound nice!
Lets not forget about Commanders! Oh the places we would go...

    sigh.....

    I have a couple Colts.

You might want to start a different thread, instead of us hi-jacking GM's.

You're right. Way to keep us on track. A post your colt thread is a good idea. Again, GM - Nice find with the O1918 Colt WWI!
