    I just go one too - the Black Oxide. It shoots as good as it looks, sweet trigger and accurate as heck right out of the box. Plus I like the lack of the 1926 modifications which turned the 1911 into the 1911a1. Simplicity does it for me!.

    Here's a pix of the gun in the waxed paper, just like the originals were shipped. The extra mag is still wrapped as you can see.

    Also included is the exact original 1912 manual with the same plates and drawings of the gun's parts, with the type-set and paper-type used in the original. (Of course, you get a modern manual also). The tool with it is also copy of the original that went with the gun.
