What gun should relative give me and why?

One of my goals was to choose a gun that would be lighter and smaller than my current EDC Glock 19. Would the Colt feel smaller while carrying?

I think my G19 is about 30 ounces loaded. What is the Colt?

.38 is a good caliber and it's a Colt Revolver.

This. A detective Special? There are probably guys here just drooling at the thought of getting their hands on one. I am not sure how the 38 compares to the 9Mak but it's more powerfull than the other 2 choices.

I'm late but the Colt Detective Special is the best choice among the ones offered.

Absolutly the COLT.
And for the reason (if you need one) IT"S A COLT.

The Colt. No-brainer in my opinion. Best cartridge of any of them and, at least as I see it, the most collectible.

I own a Colt detective special and love it. My vote is go with the Colt.
