Is there something wrong with my LCP?

I did some routine cleaning and lubrication of my LCP yesterday. So today I notice my LCP's take down pin has a very small and mean barely any movement after racking the slide.

When the slide is all the way forward it has zero play. If I recall correctly I had a kel tec P3AT years ago that did the same thing, that gun functioned fine as does my LCP.

I haven't had any issues with the pin coming out during shooting either. My LCP is a gun well past the recall it has a "373" serial number prefix, thanks for any help om this.

With the slide out of battery, the pin will have less pressure on it then when in battery. Mine is the same way.

To break your lcp down you have to depress the slide back slightly to release the pressure on the pin. sounds to me like it is doing what it is supposed to.
