Question Need a EDC working gun for concealment .45

I am having a hard time choosing a EDC gun in .45 cal.
I want lt weight and good concealment but heres the kicker...Reliability!
So i just sold my FS 1911 for $300.00 so I start w/300.00. Now Do i trust the
taurus PT145 ,the KahrCW.45, xd45c or what else? I live in south fla so it has to be fairly concealable
under a t shirt on hot days and I love the .45. Can anyone throw in some suggestions? Price range for me is under $500.00, I dislike the .40 cal, too flippy, not as accurate as the .45. 9MM is last resort!!!! I leave my gun in truck sometimes so carrying my Kimber is out for work days, weekends only.

I guess I'll throw the obvious out there. Glock 30 or 36.

The Glock-36 could be your VERY dependable and VERY concealable friend.

I have a PT145Pro. It has been a great gun right out of the box. The G30/G30SF would fill the bill pretty much exactly as the PT145 Pro, same ammo and basically the same size. The G36 is thinner with fewer rounds. The PT145pro is less expensive and it has a safety that sweeps down like a 1911 safety. I have about a thousand trouble-free rounds through my PT145 Pro.

Of my carry .45s, the PT145 Pro gets the most carry time followed by the 1911, then the G21. I prefer the safety on the gun that is on the PT145 Pro and 1911, YMMV.

I have the P45 and like it quite a bit. The CW series has been good as well if a single stack is what your looking for. Make sure you shoot anything you are considering, .45 out of a small package magnifies any ergonomic issues your hand may have with a particular gun. For instance, I thought a Glock 36 sounded like the cats meow until I shot one and it pinched the crap out of my finger.

The chance of hit or miss with the taurus bugs me to maybe have to send it back for a fix. I have had 1 kahr cw9,flawless and very concealable and i have had several glocks also flawless each one a G19,G26 G23 hate the .40 cartridge! .45is my favorite, stopped carrying 9MM. Leaning towards the kahr CW45. Anyone own a Kahr CW45? Right now I carry a Kimber Compact and it is the most accurate gun I have ever owned. But what I need is a single stack EDC in .45 beater/truck gun that is reliable and concealable under a t shirt. I know asking alot but gotta b happy and feel good w/EDC weapon!!

Hard to beat the Glock 36 for the parameters you have specified.

I have a Kahr CW9 and PM9, they are great, fun to shoot. Recoil from 9mm not bad at all, but I wouldn't want to shoot Kahr in .45. If I were in market for a concealable .45, no doubt hands down, it would be the Glock 36.

Yep G36 in that price range is the way to go, mine has got me starting to like the Glock more every day, although my 3" 1911 is still my main EDC. Near identical in weight and size as the Glock 36 and it's a 1911. Of course it's about double the price though.

G-36 is a good choice. It's my EDC.
