Cool Hogue Grips on my P-35....

Last week I contacted Hogue Grips and inquired about a set of checkered Coco Bolo grips for my old 1964 P-35. The very friendly lady at Hogue said that they had a set but they were not checkered and that they could have a set done for me in 3-4 weeks maybe sooner and I would not be charged until the grips were shipped.
That sounded good so I ordered them. I received the grips yesterday less than a week from when they were ordered. Well done Hogue. Service better than expected.

Very nice pistol! How is the holster for CCW and comfort?

Thanks. I got the Bianchi because I wanted to keep the "Old School" look on the entire rig. That said it is a good leather holster for under $50 (MidwayUSA) and carries well. I carry my Glocks in High Noon Public Secret holsters and really like them. Both the Bianchi and High Noon have slide guards which I prefer on all my CC holsters.

Very nice pistol. Those grips really accentuate it nicely!

    OS,
That is a good looking setup. Whether intended or not the color match between the holster and the grips is excellent.

Guantes, you beat me to it. It looks like you sent the color to them and asked for a match. Very nice looking set up.

Very Nice! I love the P-35, but do not own one... yet. My father had a target model for a few years and I loved shooting it. Those new grips look fantastic, and exactly how I would furnish a P-35 should I own one someday..
