    I can't wait to try this P-380

So excited to try my Kahr P-380, SS slide; sure it looks nice and I have already taken it apart and cleaned it as recommended prior to use. I really wanted something I could easily carry for summer as I don't always carry a purse or bag of sorts, traveling kids summer sports teams there is more and more to lug around. Once confident with this my son and daughter will undoubtedly get practice time in

Sounds like you picked the gun to fit your needs just fine! Congrats!

    You must know, however, that

I have one and love it....GREAT shooting gun. I have a little over 300 rounds through mine. It also has very usuable sights for such a small platform...ands it's very accurate. I put the first 220 rounds through it straight out of the box with no cleaning or lube added. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great gun! I got one last Sept., but had lots of problems. Kahr CS made it right though, and I enjoy shooting it now. Hopefully yours will work well.

Have one love it - here let me look yep I am carrying it right now - small and light easy to forget so to speak.

Do the full break in, I had a few hiccups, but to be expected. Have maybe 350 through it now. Had intentionally carried it for a couple months without cleaning to go for worst case scenario as far as fuzz etc. No issues, burned through a quick 50. Maybe someday a PM9 will follow me home too.

Ha! Both my neighbors are felons and can't possess guns!

However, I bought a new house in a nice quiet neighborhood and will be moving at the end of the month. (if all goes well, keeping fingers crossed).

I've had a P380 nearly 2 years. Got one a couple months after they started shipping. Love it, highly accurate and can also be fitted with XS Big Dot sights.

I own one too; mine has night sights. for it's size, I think it's the ultimate pocket gun with it's only short coming being that it's .380 but I still use mine in dress pants when I have to tuck my shirt and can't wear a cover.

I like that the sights, trigger, and even the grip (for me ) feel and look remarkably like my full size Kahrs. I just took mine to the range yesterday and shot about 50 rounds throught it. I surely have 500-600+ and it's very reliable, very very accurate and has little recoil. I cut a bycycle tube to put a bit on the grip becasue the checkering is a bit aggressive. I love the way that feels.

You should seriously consider a pocket holster from Hidden Hosters. I've spent an embarrasing amount of money trying to find the ultimate pocket holster. It probably doesn't exist but this one comes close. It has good retention, prevents printing and allows you a good grip on the gun when retrieving it.

I never thought that I could ever consider my little Kahr PM9 to be large. Yet, compared to the P380, the Kahr PM9 is indeed BIG.

Here is a comparison photo of the two, with the smaller P380 on the left.
