Congratulations on your new Sig! They make very fine handguns, IMO.

I remember my first dose of the "Signess".

P.s. Don't by another one yet, get a 357 Sig barrel first. It will delay the next outbreak a little.

Let me tell you how it started with me...

Once upon a time, I saw the then new Sig P239in .40 and I traded for it at a gun show. It felt sooooooooo good.
Then, I became a Reserve Deputy and decided on a Sig P220 .45. I carried it for almost 10 years.
One day I decided to get a 225 from CDNN, since I didnt have a Sig in 9mm. I carried that gun alot, concealed.
Once I was surfing the net and stumbled on a police trade in, P226 in 9mm and the price was too good to turn down. With 3 hi caps it was 299.
I went to a gun shop and got another 226 in .357 SIg, when I got bit by the .357 Sig bug.
On a gun trade, I aquired a Sig p230 in .380. A stainless steel gun that I didnt really need, but it was used to sweeten the deal, so I said, "what the heck".
Last Christmas, I bought my son a Sig 229 in .40.

Ya see, it never ends once it starts.

SIXTO - Very appropriate theme song!

Then, congrats on your new Sig - I sure like my P226(s) and P229(s) and P220(s).

My first handgun was a Sig P220R........

Now I have to think a minute to remember which ones I have. The P220 is still the best, you should really check one out
Perhaps the most fun to shoot is my Sig 556 SWAT, the most impressive to shoot is my 556 DMR. I couldn't even stick to just Sig's handguns, I now own 3 Sig rifles as well. I've got the SIGNESS BAD!

While waiting for your .357 Elite you can get a .357 barrel for your P226, mine works great, and the mags are the same.

    Have fun!

Thats a great price. Now you can afford either a 357 sig or 9mm conversion barrel.

All I need Is a Sig 226 .40. And .556 tactical carbine of some sort.

A 239 in 9mm is a sweet gun for sure. I've also had a thing for the 225 as well.
