Try not to screw up so bad they name the screw up after you. (Station 15 saying)

What about an SR22C? With like a 30 round capacity? HeHe
^^ Now you're talking. A hi cap .22 plinker that's not a pure target gun.

A phase plasma rifle with 40 watt ranging is my guess.

Maybe they finally got the bugs worked out of the XGI.

I say it is going to be either a pocket 9mm pistol or a sub-compact .45 pistol.

Hey Y'all: Like all firearm mfgrs, they are in business to make money----money is No1 and not firearms. Once you understand that, you realize that all this marketing hype and putting lasers on everything, and making firearms lighter and smaller are all part of the desire to fill the niche of all those people out there who understand that Obama is the "gun salesman of the year". It used to be that there were firearms in different calibres by different makers and that was that--now there is a new model almost everyday from everyone--all looking for your dollars. Some are probably very very good and a real step up in design and quality, but many are just about marketing and your dollars--not that there is anything really wrong with that but, IMO, that is what drives these "mystery unveilings".

I don't know about that. I think the real driving force behind the "mystery unveiling" is a market that feels like it has to snatch up every new gun out there. Look at the XDM; people just "had to have" it. Same with the LCP, LCR, PF9, and so on. There are a lot of guys with the same gun in the same size in three different calibers, if not three of the exact same gun.
Not that this is a bad thing, but buyers drive the market. It did used to be that there were different calibers by different makers, but that was before the days of obsessing over pocket carry-a-bility on gun boards into the wee hours of the night. They keep making them because we're chomping at the bit for the next perfect gun.

+1, 2 & 3... Much of what is introduced these days is pure Hollywood crap.

True, but that doesn't stop every other company from hyperventilating PR about how their new gun will revolutionize the gun industry or something and then we get... something remarkably similar to one of their other guns.

I'd like to see them upsize the LCP frame/slide/etc to handle 9mm. I like my LCP, but i would love it in 9mm....

I'm weak enough to jump in it. I'll probably own one as soon as they show up at my LGS.

My brother has an LCP and I kinda dig it, I am definitely digging the LC9 more though. Would be nice to have a subcompact 9mm kickin around. If it's decently priced I think I'll pick one up.
