Still looks to tall for a pocket pistol. IMO... and the barrel is only .7 tenths shorter than a M&P.... and .26 hundredths shorter than a Glock 26. And the Glock 26 is still shorter Height wise 4.17 vs the Rugers 4.5.. so all I see going for it is the .9 width. But then it is a single stack and you lose capacity.

So in terms against the M&P and Glock 26 yes it would be easier to pocket carry. Would I carry it as a EDC or Primary? Maybe, but it looks like a mouse/BUG to me.

I was right. It’s another remarkably, unremarkable vinyl mousetrap. Pumping 9mm out of 17-ounces isn't for me, but to each their own.

I was hoping it would be more like the Kahr PM9, but with those specs it is the same as my current Taurus PT709. God Bless

Hmmm looks like a neat little gun. You can pick apart the specs all you want, but the fact is, once the inevitable bugs are worked out, Ruger will sell a Crap ton of them.

Wow a PF9 with an added external safety. Oh well at least I get to keep some coin for something really interesting.

Glock better setup some US manufacture and get on the stick...they are truly missing out on a lot of the market.

I agree. They should launch a pocket Glock in .380, a single stack Glock 26 and a carbine. But the bottom line is that they are still the # 1 pistol used by LEO and concealed carry civilians in the U.S..

Carbine would be awesome. If they came out with a single stack 9. 40 , and .357 .380 is a moot point IMO.

Without looking up the exact specs, it appears to be very similar to the Kahr PM9 and/or CW9. Capacity same as the CW9 (7+1). Same width as the Kahr line up. It is 1 oz. lighter than the PM9.

Hmmm very interesting. I hope there are no bugs with it and they don't have any recalls. I think it's great that Ruger came out with this. I think they make some fine pistols, both revolver and semi-auto. I don't think they'll have much problem selling these. Especially if the price point is lower than the Kahr.

Very nice. I might be in for one.

Checked the specs. Kahr CW9 Height 4.5" Length: 5.9" Width: .90" Weight (pistol alone): 15.8 oz.
    Ruger LC9 Height 4.5" Length: 6" Width: .90" Weight: 17.10 oz

Looks like a winner to me.... Time will tell, but if it runs as good as the LCP it should have quite the following.

Ruger did it right with the LCR, if this thing is even close to the quality and trigger it will sell like hotcakes
