Ruger is at it again....
I checked the Ruger website this morning and it states that "Ruger has undoubtedly created the next firearm that you absolutely must own!".
It then states to check back Monday January 3rd at 2:00 PM.
Any thoughts? I'm hoping for a PF9 clone this time.

I hate this teasing crap Ruger keeps doing. Yesterday they said new info tomorrow and today all they say is check in tomorrow. That's not news!

Problem with a 1911 is who hasn't been there done that. Nothing against the 1911 platform but there would be nothing new or intriguing about Ruger bringing out a 1911.

The latest issue of Combat Handguns has the SR40 in it, perhaps a compact version?

I'm all for a brand new '57 Chevy if GM decides to tool up again. Chances of it being a "must have" are higher than another gun.

What about all the extra warning labels you get with a Ruger. If they used a fancy font it would be like cool engraving.

If GM would make one identical to the original on the outside with modern interior, amenities, and mechanicals it would be a huge hit. I don't understand why they never capitalized on the opportunity. They should have done it in the late 90s as the folks who were buying them new were retiring with some money to spend (good economic time too). Strike while the iron is hot.
