Well, why not just get it......
That's what my daughter said today while patiently waiting for me to make up my mind if I wanted to be the proud owner of a 66-1.
I love and trust my daughter, so I figured I better take her advice.
66-1, Pinned and Recessed, excellent condition, judging by the cone it has been fired very little, if at all. In a box with the paper work and matching #'s on the end, but I don't think it is the original box because I believe they were the two pieces still when the 66-1 was coming out. I know the late 66-2 was a hinged box, but even the earlier 66-2 was two pieces I think??
Oh well, no matter, I love my new old Smith; I suppose it would only be fair to give it to my only daughter one day, which I fully intend to do.

Thanks to all, yep she is a great girl. She has a Blue S&W 36 LadySmith, and a Classic Nickel 36 also. She likes S&W wheelies as much as me. I'll let you all know how it shoots......

Recently picked up a 4" 66-1, amazing gun. Love it and looking for another, maybe the 6" first for range work. Looking forward to The Bride shooting it. You will love it!
