I bought one for my Glock 36 specifically to carry in shorts or sweats with no belt so I can carry during my daily walk.
I cinch up the draw string and tuck it in. Works great and is only about $30 bucks shipped.
+1 to that. I can carry my S&W BG380 in a remora holster inside my athletic shorts and go thru most of my work out (lying on my back, it presses against my hip a bit).

I carry like this all the time...Smartcarry with a nylon Nike shorts.

    When I carried a 3" 1911 it didn't work...too heavy...so I would carry my PM9 in this mode.

Since then I've changed my EDC to a G26 which works fine in my Smartcarry.

My smart carry has plenty of strength to hold my full sized 1911. don't try to run though in sweat pants ot athletic shorts. it slaps around too much.
