    trijicon or meprolight

Switching to night sites on my p95 this will be the 1st aftermarket set I have ever bought. They seem pretty close but I can get the Meps a bit cheaper any thoughts.

I have both. My DW CBOB came with trijicon NS, my CZ P-06 came with meprolight Tru Dot NS. I don't see any big difference in the 2. When I decided to install NS on my CZ P-01 I went with the meprolight since that is what CZ uses. Either will serve you well, just depends on what you want to pay.

My Mepro sights have a larger thicker metal ring around the tritium vials. These larger white rings are easier for me to see in normal light, (I wear bifocals). In dim light the two brands look alike to me. I prefer the Mepros.

I am doing the same search. I was at the LGS today and he had both. The Trijicons had a white ring around the vile, while the meps had a silver ring. I felt I could see the trijicons much better in full light of the shop.

Thanks Ripley I wear bifocals as well. I like the idea of better acquisition in normal light.

I use both. It seems the Trijicons are brighter, but the Meprolight seem to be a liitle larger lights. Both are good, but I like the Trijicon better personally. Best price I've found on Trijicons was from Manventure Outpost out of Florida.

Either will work well...I've had both, but I've put Trijicons on my last four Glocks.

I have Mepro on my G19 and really like them. I would buy them again.

A followup photo to my post. Here's a comparison of both... Mepro on the left, Trijicon on the right, mounted on a pair of Kahrs. The larger Mepro tube is better for me personally. Either are good quality.

Both are very good. It's about personal preference. For me, I'm a creature of habit. Ever since I read about how the FBI set their Glocks up in the 90s. (Article in the Glock Autopistol Magazine) It's how I set all my Glocks up.
With Trijicon sights & an extended slide release lever.

I've been through both over the years. I must say that I'll go with the Meprolights from now on for my night sights. Less expense, and better acquisition for me daylight or dark. There have been other posts about this in the past where I've made my opinion known. Meps are the best buy. When my Trijicons give out, I'll replace them with Meps or the Glcok OEM night sights. Just my personal opinion.
    Yes....ripley 16........nice pics BTW!
