Not a bad thing. Sometimes a Glock is the best answer to a dilemma. I've come to know this simple truth over the years. Welcome to the club!

You did good. Your Glock will feed and function just fine with the magazines that came with it, no need to buy expensive, aftermarket magazines just for it to work. You won't have to buy ambidextrous this and extended that to make the Glock work. Your Glock can be completely disassembled with only a small punch. Oh yeah, it will feed hollow points without a bit of problem, too. Sounds to me like you made a wise decision.

I have a G23 the my girlfriend never uses. I love my 1911's and carry them. The only flaw with the G23 we have is it's a Gen3, I hate the sharp finger grooves. The Gen4 seems to be more like the RTF models which feel great. I may get a Gen4 19 or 23 into the collection.

    Congrats on the new Glock.

I recently went in the other direction...I sold two Kimbers and bought two more Glocks.
    I started with a Glock-36, then bought a Glock-26...this week I bought a Glock-21 with a Surefire 300 (170 lumens) to put on it, and I'm waiting for a Glock-19 I also bought...still sitting in the post office.

Welcome to the dark side! I think you'll enjoy the simplicity of the Glocks.

Congrats on your new Glock. I purchased a Glock 30 ( 45 acp). Took it to the range yesterday and I was very impressed. It shot very well and left my my uncle saying damn with raised eye brows! So far I like it and it's my EDC.

My Gen3 G22 has never failed.
Have carried a Gen4 G26 for about 5 months now.
    Absolutely love the firearm.
I am a fan of the 45 however.
    Held a G36 yesterday.
I am thinking that will be my next purchase.
Would love to see it as a Gen4.
