When I leave the home port:
S&W 642 Airweight, Ruger SP 101, Colt Detective Spec., CZ RAMI, Kahr PM9, Kahr CW40, S&W Model 10-7, Glock 30, 19, and 26, Browning Hi Power, CZ82, Colt Commander, Dan Wesson PM7, Ruger LCP
I think you mean "First Sig and now Ruger".
Sig unveiled the 290 last month sometime.
There are no dangerous weapons; there are only dangerous men.--RAH
...man fights with his mind; the weapons are incidental.--Jeff Cooper
There is a reason they try and make small bullets act like big bullets--Glockmann10mm
I agree though... it is great to see competition from many different companies. I have interest in both the lc9, and new sig 290.. but they will have to be a good bit smaller and as reliable as my beloved pps to gain a spot in the safe. I love my LCP as well, so the LC9 could come home with me if i come across one. I just saw that gun blast has an lc9 video on youtube if anyone is interested.

And I bet the Ruger hits stores first.. and they sell a crap load of them.
The Sig looks a little bit better, but neither offer what I would hope for.
They need to be just a bit smaller, they're just too big still.

I really like the Sig. Thanks for the heads up.![]()
