The only thing you can be sure of is his age and state residence with a "valid" drivers lic. or ccw permit. If the buyer does not "feel" right and makes you nervous you can insist that you both go to a LGS to do the transfer and share the cost. One more thing I always try to take a friend with me when meeting someone new for a trade or sale just for backup.
