Kel Tec p11- which S&W clips?

I'm thinking about getting a P11.
Kel Tec's website claims that the P-11 will also accept standard S&W large capacity clips. I don't know much about either of these brands, so if someone could fill me in on what clips to buy (e.g. "you need a clip for a S&W 12345") it would be a big help.

Magazines that fit the models 59, 459, 469, 5900 series. I have a 15 round and a 30 round mag that will fit the P11. I don't know how well they work because my wife decided to sell the P11 the same weekend she bought. She did not get through 2 mags before she decided she could not stand the pistol.

I did do some hand cycling with each mag and the 15 worked perfectly. The 30 round did not work with 30 or 29 rounds in it. Would not feed. With 28 or below worked fine while hand cycling. As stated above I don't know how well they will work in actual service. These are pre-ban mags that I bought just after the ban on mags holding more than 10 rounds went into effect. I bought them and then never went looking for a pistol that they would work in. Now I have discovered that I don't shoot pistols double stack mags very well. So this is your lucky day. If you are interested in the two mags I will let you have them for $5.00 plus shipping. Just PM me your info and I will get them out this afternoon.

As an option, you can get 12 rd flush fitting mags from Kel-Tek. I have one that functions perfectly.

you can get p11 mags on e-bay and other places at a lower price than the s&w mags. yes the s&w mag will work, don't remember which one. but s&w mags cost more. at one time someone had factory p11 mags for $9.99 each with free shipping on e-bay. i got four for my p11.

Only the S&W brand magazines work 100%. None will fit flush but make a decent spare mag on the belt. As mentioned, Kel-Tec makes 12rd flush fitting magazines and IMO are better for concealment. Ebay has better prices but Kel-Tec is the only one I have bought the KT 12rd from at about $25. Try CDNN for the S&W mags at a decent price.

I bought 3 magazines off of Gunbroker.com last year. They are S&W model 469 12 rnd mags. Don't remember exactly how much I paid.
