Just about any SA 1911 is a good value in 1911s. 475 is about standard price.

If I am thinking about the same firearm they were made in the early 90´s for just a few years and they have been discontinued; they are not very easy to find. It is not a Commander-sized pistol; it has an Officer's frame and a Commander slide. I tried to get one of them or a CCO but I could not find any. If it is in good shape I should get it; the combination of an Officer's frame and a Commander slide makes a great carry firearm.

I have one I picked up in a pawnshop in Fayetteville for $450 a while back. It had a horrendous trigger pull 12lb+ but a trip to the local ‘smith cured that. Great shooting pistol now.

Not a bad looking weapon, Maybe do some research if your thinking about buying it see what there going for See if theres any issues besides the trigger that might be the only thing thats a draw back? Good luck

Sounds like a Champion GI model. Those actually have 4" bull barrels, not the full 4.25" commander barrel.
