I am a little surprised that it took Kahr this long to realize that their PM9 could not compete economically with the new generation of single stack magazine 9mm sub compact pistols. (Ruger LC9 and Taurus 709 for example). I like my CW9 and I prefer the longer grip and 7+1 capacity for a slim pistol to carry IWB or for carry in larger pockets. I am sure the new CM9 will appeal to many with its compact size and more importantly its price point.

The video I am finding on that site is of the Kimber Solo, not a new Kahr gun. Did they change the video?

The video shows a bunch of pocket guns. At about a minute into the vid there's a shot of the CM9... a still showing the new Kahr.The video I am finding on that site is of the Kimber Solo, not a new Kahr gun. Did they change the video?

I can't find anything online about the new CM9. Is there anybody out there who actually went and saw it? How does it compare to the CW9, which is already the budgetized PM9?

The CW9 is the bidget P9. The PM9 is smaller in both barrel and grip length. The CM9 is the budget PM9, or at least will be whenever it is released.

Is it me, or do the thumb safeties on the new Kimber Solo look like they stick waaay out from the frame??

More guns in that segment of the market should be better for options, price and hopefully quality. Nothing wrong with that in my book.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

It appears that way to me too. According to Kimber's site, the gun's overall width is 1.2 inches; the slide width is likely .9 inches.
