Call me "old school" but I just like the thought of 15 rounds and a longer site radius on my Glock-19 in this day and age of smaller is better 9mm's. I can carry my 19 anywhere you can carry one of these smaller 9mm except on the ankle (never really liked that mode) or in the pocket ( that's where my DB.380 BUG goes). All that said Ruger makes a quality firearm and for someone who wants a micro 9mm at a resonable price then this could be their answer.![]()

Just located this link from Kimber wherein they state that the frame width is only 0.995". Kimber is advertising an O/A width of 1.20" which includes the safeties. Mystery solved.

My boss is at a dealer show. He shot an LC9 yesterday. He was not impressed. He said it seems bigger than a Taurus Slim.
They'll still sell like stupid.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

Yes I'm sorry I meant 1.18 width for the Glock 19 my mistake. I would like to put some rounds out of this Ruger though.
If you can read this thank a teacher. If it is written in English thank a Marine.
Thanks LOS for the comparison charts. They're useful.

Is the width posted of .90inches of the LC9 with or without the safety ?? God Bless![]()
Most likely without the safety. The Kel-Tec PF9 is advertised as having a 0.88" width, so I'm sure the LC9 is measured without the safety lever(s).
BTW, THANKS for the kind words regarding the Charts. It's my pleasure, guys.
I've gotten to the point that it only takes me about 10 minutes to make one, so no biggy. As long as I can find a decent image that can be reduced or enlarged along with manufacture specs, I'm good to go. I really enjoy making them.
