I bought a Kimber .45 today & have been hearing about their .22 conversions. How are they?
It may be a way to do some fun plinking in the country & also a way to get my wife more proficient with a handgun.
Any comments on the conversions?
Thanks

i cant saw but ive been trying to decide between one form them and one from advantagearms.com The one from AA Has last round lock back Kimber dont
I have the Kimber 22 conversion kit. Love it! I have shoot thousands of rounds through it with no problems. Keep it clean and lubed. Recommend it for plinking and target practice. 22 rounds are a lot less than 45 rounds. The sights and feel are identical to the 45's feel.
Where I work, we've sold a whole lot of Kimber conversions. I can't even remember one ever being returned. Everyone seems to like them a lot. I do not believe that they are as accurate as the Marvel conversion... but they are nothing like the big money of the Marvel either.
If I were to buy a 22 conversion, I'd go with Kimber. And, may just do that if I can run across some money!
Thanks guys,
The fact that y'all like them probably cost me some $$$. But, I think it would be fun to shoot on occasion & would like for my wife to use it to improve her skills as well.
