Great charts! Thanks for sharing them !

On Kahr's site and in their spec. sheets they give "OAL" dimensions for their guns. One would think thank that OAL meant OverAll Length, but in fact, the lengths given are actually slide length only.
The true dimensions for the Kahr PM9 is OAL 5.6" and Height 4.3".

    @ Bobo

    THANKS. I appreciate the heads-up.

I can't imagine why Kahr would deliberately choose to mislead on the O/A length. Can you provide objective, conclusive proof so that I can revise all PM9 charts. You can email the data, if you would prefer.

    Thanks.

Thank you very much for these charts, sir! They are immensely useful. I'm headed to my LGS tomorrow (I hope) to check out a Solo (again, I hope!).

    Los,

When I started this chart http://www.mouseguns.com/PocketAutoComparison.pdf many years ago, I originally used the data that Kahr provided.

Someone from the forum that I originally posted the chart on who had a PM9 and a PM45 PM'd me with the correct dimensions that he measured from his own guns . These measurements were also confirmed by another member of the forum. Unfortunately, that forum no longer exists.

Sorry that I can't give you more definite proof than this.

Hopefully, someone on this forum could measure the Kahr guns and give a "once-and-for-all" answer.

Thanks for your charts, they are extremely well done and very useful.

    Thanks.

I've currently made close to 100 comparison charts featuring popular compact, subcompact and micro-compact pistols and poly revolvers chambered in .380 acp, 9mm and 45acp. Let me know if you'd like to see a specific comparison and I'll upload it. Chances are that the Comparison Chart is already made.

I am wondering if the newly announced Kahr CM9 will be the same size as the PM9.
The CW series does seem to be almost the same as the P series.

The CM9 is the same size as the PM9... they are "downgrading" a few parts and pieces to make it cheaper.

    http://www.ammoland.com/2011/02/09/k...ms-cm9-pistol/

Differences between the CM models and PM models include: the CM9093 has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel on Kahr’s PM series; the CM slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CM series slide has fewer machining operations and uses simple engraved markings instead of roll marking; and finally, the CM series are shipped with one magazine instead of two magazines.

Excellent job Los, this is really helpful.
I am looking for a pocket size gun, and was considering the Ruger LC9, the Sig P290 and the S&W M&P 340 CT. So far I am leaning towards the Sig P290 and the S&W M&P 340 CT. I wonder if you could add the S&W MP 340 CT to this comparison.

    Thanks.

Currently own: XDM 4.5 9mm and Sig P239 also in 9mm.

Did you mean to write 340 "PD", the revolver?
