Since the EMP was created from the ground up as a 9mm 1911 the grip is slighly smaller than a regular 1911. Using a regular Crimson Trace laser for the compact 1911, there is some slack around the front of the grip. Crimson Trace now has one out for the Kimber Solo which we know is a 9mm styled almost like a 1911, so *maybe* this may work on the EMP if they use the same screw pattern, spacing, and grip panel pattern.
