Hey Chris i did say i had to fit a Ambi to it ...lol

Well it will be little delayed from EDC

While it apperes to be shot very very little it has a few problems I've seen in a few used 1911's Plunger tube loose have to get the tool always sent everyone to a gunsmith before.

Also a loose ejector all minor stuff..

I did fit a new trigger to it thanks to QK a Medium colt trigger. Im sure Qk was going *** when is bud going to use them triggers i sent him almost a year ago.

I didn't totally fit the trigger as a good classic colt trigger is almost a waste in a series 80.

Heres pic like Frame Rail look at the lack of wear no shiny spots

But the slide to frame fit is as smooooooth as glass

heres the pic's from tonight's work also added hogues and wilson V-grip MSH

Sorry Bud - re-read your first post but lack of punctuation makes it read two ways!

    Picked it up yesterday.

Like new though surprised on the ejector being loose. shows no wear..

Plunger Tube I'm not surprised on.

Also we try to make sure everybody can read the post so we do try to watch punctuation heck they know i cant spell.. English wasn't a strong subject

Good find, I found a series 70 combat cmdr a few months back that needs a new finish, but was otherwise solid as a rock. Eventualy I will have the slide fitted a little better, have a Hart Barrel and bushing installed, replace the bothersome original gripsafety with a Wilson and then get the whole thing hardchromed by Tripp. BTW, Thanks for info on them.

Going to shoot it before i decide if I'm going to replace the duck butt grip safety.

I think a hard Chrome Finish from Tripp would be cool

Forgot to say i added a Wilson combat extended mag release
