...of Glocks!
I needed a compact in .40S&W, the G27 was the one I wound up with. I've never been one to jump on the Glock bandwagon, but this firearm just feels right. The build quality seems superior to my XD, not to mention the lifetime warranty
I don't even notice that I am carrying this firearm
I'm also sporting a forum sponsor's holster, the "Split Decision" by High Noon Holsters. High Noon just happens to be located 2 miles from my home, too bad they don't do fact to face transactions! The holster is a ready to ship generic(fits many compact's). It's an IWB tuckable. So far it's great!
Range time is soon to come, when the GF gets time off (Shes a Bronx transplant, never fired a gun until she met me. She agreed to a second trip to the range

It took me a long time too! but I am 100% sold on Glock now, I am several thousand rounds into my Glock 22 40 cal and have had no issue from the box. Fisrt gun ever that had no break in period, no problem with long saturdays (without cleaning) etc.... I still do not think it is pretty, it is not me favorite etc... but I would pick it in a fight over every single hand gun I own every time.

It's difficult to fall in love with any of the plastic water pistols, but you've got to respect the Glock's reliability when it counts.

It is for us older guys who were brought up on wheel guns and the 1911; I always thought the glock lookid like a shoe box with a handle, and i held out a long time... but it is just a great gun no doubt..

Nice piece. A free word of advice...use caution when introducing your GF to firearms with the G27. It can be a handful for some and you don't want to turn her off to handguns with a negative experience.
God Bless and stay safe.

I always hated any plastic pistol, until I landed a job that our duty weapon was the glock 22. I was very fortunate there, and they had a great qualification program. Since then I have been a strong advocate (convert, dark sider, etc) for glocks. I love the looks of the 1911. But if I retire my revolver for carry, it's gonna be to a glock.
