    Glock 45/10mm conversion

All this talk recently of 10mm has got me thinking...

    First, a couple questions:
    1) Does the 10mm conversion kit for the G30 require just a barrel swap or does the extractor etc need to be changed as well?

    2) Is there a .45ACP conversion kit for the G29?

In terms of making the G29 more concealable, I know that you can put the G36 slide on it to reduce thickness and weight a little bit (of course this makes it just a little snappier).

However, I think the ultimate would be a 10mm conversion for the G36. Think about that for a minute. Slimline 10mm, and the slightly longer barrel of the G36, which is (IMO) not worth it when shooting .45ACP, would actually a more significant improvement when firing 10mm because it is so much hotter. Also, you could theoretically fit 1 or 2 more rounds of single stack 10mm than .45ACP.

What do you think, is it possible?

The Kit I bought is a 10mm and it fits in the 29,30,36. It is a Barrel, guide rod and recoil spring, and mags.

Where did you get this kit from?

Auction I don't think it was a factory complete kit.

The wolff recoil spring says it fits 29/30/36 but the KKM conversion barrel is made for the Glock 30 specifically. The question is will it fit inside a G36 upper...

The bigger question though is magazine. Obviously the G30 magazines will not fit into the G36. One could presumably custom make a single stack 10mm magazine, by modifying a 1911 magazine or something, but will the G26 frame even have enough clearance for longer 10mm bullets?

I believe it was on the Lone Wolf site where they said they had once made 10mm/.45 conversion barrels but had problems with it. They said they could have resolved the problems but low demand made it financially a no-go.

Other than that, I can't offer any input on any 10/45 conversions.

It appears to be in stock here:

    Glock 30 Drop-in 10mm :: G30 :: Glock :: KKM Precision :: Reliable and Accurate Custom Pistol Barrel Manufacturer

BTW, this sight states that it needs an extractor as well, but my stock G30 .45 extractor pulls 10mm's without a hiccup.

Where do you get a glock 21 Drop-in 10mm. Wouldn't this be a conversion Barrel?

That site does not work. It goes to some Red Hat Site. Were you able to get there?

Ummmm the Glock 21 is a .45ACP... so any "drop in" 10mm barrel is going to be a conversion as the original "drop-in" is in .45 caliber.....
