Hi all, I'm going to be picking up my Kimber Custom II from lay away in a few days. I would like to see some pics of black 1911s with stainless controls. I have googled and not been very successful. The reason I ask is because I am thinking about changing out the controls on mine. I want to see how the contrast looks. It already has a stainless bbl, trigger, and hammer. Please post pics or links to any gun that fits this description. even ultras and commanders are ok. Thanks alot.

Seems like it will look good. I'd like to see the same pics. I know I like the stainless barrel bushing on my SA full size loaded.

Kimber stopped putting stainless barrels in their guns some time ago. Mine is just plain old carbon steel "in the white" Keep it oiled, it will rust!

Mine is pretty shiny it looks like stainless. I am not sure what it is for sure. RESGR9142 I love the stainless loaded I was torn between that and my Kimber. My next will probably be a stainless loaded champion.
