    Hammer cocked or keep it un-cocked

    Its been a year I've carried CHL. I just recently got new Sig SP2022 that has a hammer. Its kind new to me to carry it because I had S&W Sigma for long time. I'm wondering any of you who carry pistol with hammer cocked or leave it un-cocked? Any experiences you have or what are your thoughts?

    I'm not familiar with that particular gun but if it's designed to be carried cocked and locked that's how I'd carry it. If it is DA/SA it probably has a decocker, in which case I'd decock it after loading and carry it hammer down.

    When I carried any double action/single action or double action only pistol I never carried it cocked.
