Glock magazines have a bit of play, there is a small 2mm gap between the magazine base plate and the grip base that can be pushed in to reduce overall height. Anyone know a trick for making it stay in more snugly to eliminate this gap?

Nope. It was never a concern for me. It's probably there to ensure the mag release catches.

Funny, but the earlier generations of Glock mags do not have this space between the floorplate and gripframe,primarily the NFML mags.
I see what you are saying but it has never been an issue for me. As long as the mag is loaded the play is stiff and unnoticeable unless looking for it.
Ignore it, the Glock perfection is all about performance.![]()
