Feels great in this! Side Guard Holsters - IWB Holsters - Quick Clip
Gotta get off my seat and take some pics and do a review.

My last SP-101.

Shot well but I went in favor of the lighter LCR.

That's my brother's Ruger .45 there.
Both my SPs and the Speed Six handled Magnums well, but
I still think the LCR is the Zenith in small revolvers.

Now THAT'S an SP101!
At this point in my life I am better able to handle revolvers than semiautomatic pistols. I chose Ruger revolvers for recreational shooting as well as for protection while open-carry walking in the desert and concealed during city activity.
Besides being sturdy, reliable and easy to carry concealed, I have found that I am more accurate up to 15 yards with my 2.25” SP101 than I have ever been with any other short barrel handgun. This is a pleasant surprise when my reason for purchasing this revolver was for short distance personal protection.
The SP101 is one tremendous revolver!

I hope to join the SP101club soon, but with the SP101 .22. Ever since I shot my dads .22 single action I've wanted a .22 revolver, and double action on a rock solid frame makes it even more attractive.
Here's what I want

Thanks,
Clay
Great looking guns you got there Aimtrue.
Oh yeah. Awesome!
aimtrue very nice collection of revolvers! Like the grips too
Thank you for the kind words.
The grips are Hogue Camo Lamo Monogrips. They are comfortable and fit well in my hands.
The heft and balance of the Ruger GP100's and the SP101 along with the tactile feel of the Hogue monogrips buffer quite well the sharp recoil of .357 magnum rounds.
I just finished reworking this one in stainless steel...

Chamfered the chambers for Speed Loading and beveled the rear of the cylinder...

Put a 11 degree muzzle crown on it along with an action job...

I broke ALL the sharp edges everywhere (inside and out)...

Rounded/polished the trigger, added a Fiber Optic front sight and refinished it in Soft Satin.
Happened to be in the right place at the right time a few months ago and snagged this full house Weigand Combat SP101 Conversion at an unbelievable price. I've wanted this one since the 90's. I added the laser grips after purchase.

This may be sacrilege, but here's my SP101 in 22LR. She's a little dirty after about 200 rounds through her during my trip to the range on Wednesday.
