Would anyone recomend the 2.25" or 3" barrel?
    Thx
I believe that the 3" would be the most advantageous, depending on how you're gonna carry it.

I went with the 2.25" because I like to carry it AIWB.

    AIWB or pocket = 2.25"

    anything else = 3"

Then again, if you're stepping up to 3" maybe it's time to consider the GP100?

    Here's mine. 3" .357 with night sight.

Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.

My SP101 was my first carry gun, and I still carry it often!

Don't carry it much, but I do appreciate what they offer.

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Been a member of the SP101 club for a couple years now; but not as active as I should be...............
Ordered the Hogue grip through Ruger and it would not fit but a nice lady at Hogue sent me a replacement for free. Hogue is a great Company......

After shooting with the new grip, I promise to be a much more active member of the club.......

I'm also a member of this club, using same holster. Incredibly comfortable.

Mine came NIB with the Hogue Monogrip which is fine for target practice but the rough texture kept snagging my CC shirts, so I opted for the Lamo Camo grip which is quite smooth in comparison.

My avatar is my SP101 firing a 125-grain JHP with 17.2 grains of 2400 behind it- the SP101 could handle these all day and not even flinch (myself, though,... another matter :)-
Four Rugers, three SIG Sauers; my SP101 3-1/16" .357 is shown in my avatar. I like reliability.
