    My next gun.

Well I went to a local gun store the other day and I saw my next gun purcase. For the first time I held a HK P2000.I grabed it and it felt better than any gun I have ever held.Plus the trigger was way better than any HK trigger I have ever squeezed.I think it had the LEM trigger.Looks to be a very good carry gun.Anyone out there use a P2000 for EDC? The P2000 that I tried out is used and the GS wants $700 for it.I guess I will see how it shoots when I bring it home in a month or so.

What feels right is quiet important. You tend to shoot and handle better the things that feel right to you. I just love those, "hay man, you need to get a xxxxxx, you will love it" posts. Hands, like fingerprints are unique as is body structure and handling methodology. No single handheld firearm fits everyone.

Enjoy the firearm you choose and choose wisely.

    Best!

Was it calling your name when you picked it up?

Down here the Border Patrol carry P2000 40,I had a sergeant tell me he liked the G17 better due to more accurate and faster followup shots

You can't go wrong with HK! (IMO) I have a USP compact with the LEM trigger and love it. I think people either love it or hate it. It does take some time to learn proficiently but once you do its VERY nice. The LEM trigger has a long first trigger pull then a short reset and once you get the feel of it quick follow up shots are where it can shine. My dad has a Glock 23 that I have shot that and must say I prefer the HK with the LEM trigger. The ergos suit me better and it works for me. Good luck with your HK! I'm sure you'll love it!

Yes it was and I have never had a handgun feel so right. I wasn't even going to consider a 9mm.But because it felt so right in my hands I have to get it. I still won't sell my G29 or G30 but I think they will have to give the P2000 some carrying time.

I have seen that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers carry the HK P2000 in .40 S&W with LEM trigger. If it's good for them, I bet it will be fantastic for you as well. Go with your gut!
