Keep the shotgun handy!!
I have my Kel-Tec P3AT (2G) loaded w/ Gold Dots - AT ALL TIMES...
When I am carrying a SIG, 1911, Glock, Kahr, Beretta or S&W as a Primary carry choice, the 3AT Pocket Piece is ALWAYS present.
When I am unable to carry anything else, the 3AT Pocket Piece is ALWAYS present.
This is my 3rd KT (P-11, P-32) and it is a TOTALLY Reliable defense Weapon. Never a failure, shoots the good stuff and the range stuff without complaint, and has been 100% in delivery.
IMO, it is what you need in an Always Companion...

S&W 1911Sc Commander in a MaxCon 5.
I also have a Sig P220, Firestar .40 and a S&W Model 66 w/2 1/2 barrel, but carry the commander exclusively.
It was 109 degrees here yesterday, but I've made my mind up that I'm going to carry concealed no matter what.

Jeremiah 17:9
Most of the time I carry my G27. If it is too hot to conceal it properly then I go with my S&W 340PD.

What does this "unarmed" word mean?
Question from absit:I think that Unarmed here - in this context for most - is a misnomer... Perhaps P95Carry says it best:What does this "unarmed" word mean?
OR, perhaps Minimally Armed because the clothing situation or the activity or the venue dictates a more reserved approach to this particular carry situation... (some folks will disagree with me on this - preferring to NEVER let the condition determine particular carry methods, and I respect that... This, however, is not a viable option sometimes in my world. I prefer Minimally Armed to UnArmed).I think that unarmed should be ''unarmed'' Or perhaps ''part armed''!
Example - wearing cutoffs, a tank-top and sandles to the mall (no fashion police here, please!!!It is HOT this time of year!!!
) can possibly make for some required adjustments to a normal carry choice.
IMHO, An Always Gun or BUG serves this temporary condition quite well...
YMMV, of course!!!![]()

Common Sense, the rarest of all senses
Well in that case, I only own two handguns, and I only carry one, a Sig P226 in .40 is then my always gun.
