I think I would have had to take the gun away from the guy behind me, and beat him with it.
Wow! I mean WOW! SCARY sruff! That guy was half an inch or less from total head explosion.
Talk about military bearing though. The guy takes a round skimming off the back of his head, flinches but then has the composure to finish the drill routine and follow the next order.
I'm sure there was also an epic sphincter fail for the guy that lost his hat too.

Not to burst anyone's bubble here, but they were firing blanks. Here's the full video, notice that they have to manually cycle the action after each shot. Now blanks can be deadly, but much less so than a live round.
It's amazing that the man who's cranium cap was terminated kept composed throughout the ordeal, didn't even bother to pick up his cover.
