    Walther PPS

I carry a Walther PPS, .40 S&W, in a Gun Glove IWB holster. I keep it loaded with 155gr Hornady TAP.

I now carry my agency issued SIG P239 in .40 S&W with two spare magazines. Ammo remains the same: Speer 165 grain JHP Gold Dot.

Does your agency require 165 gr Gold Dots? They have been shown to be (see TacticalForums) a less effective round than the 180 and 155gr versions. Not that the 165gr. would be useless, just that the 180 and 155 are clearly more effective ballistically.

    Yes, they are required.

We are looking at possibly switching to the FBI-issued Winchester Ranger 180 grain JHP; I managed to get box for testing purposes; I haven't shot any of it yet.

Oh yes, that's a very good load... possibly the best SD load in .40... I hope you're able to go that way.

Most recent carry gun is a S&W M&P 40c w/Crimson Trace grips. Other hand guns carried are: HiPoint in 40 S&W, S&W model 10 (38 Spcl.) and Ruger SP101 w/Crimson Trace grips. Loads are 125 grain Hornady XTP and 155 grain Hornady XTP!

Once I get my CCW permit, I'll carry a Taurus 85 Ultralight 38 Special... although I don't have the slightest idea what to do for a holster or if I want to purse carry. I'm small, and so far none of the holsters I've tried have been comfortable or concealable on me. So... at the moment... I'm lost...

    I carry a SIG P250 9mm or a SP101 357mag and a LCP .380backup.
Still trying to come-up with the rite holsters that work for me.
