I like to carry my Kimber stainless ultra II Raptor its small enough to be comfortable and powerful enough to do the job. I am thinking about buying the new Sig P238 SAS for the summer though.

Just wondering what gun(s) every one else carries.

I carry a SIG P239 in 9mm most of the time, but now that the weather is cooler and jackets are in order, the SIG P229 in .40 get the call.

I still dream of the day that i get a commander size 1911 GSR from SIG in .40

I carry the Public Defender .410/.45, originally I saw it in American Rifleman and thought it would make a great snake gun though a few months later a couple taking an early morning walk together in a very nice neighborhood were rushed by a 17, 19 and 21 year old, he beaten to death but before finished off with a tooth smash against a curb he was held to watch his wife raped then a pole stuffed inside her and left to bleed to death. So, after this I laid my Glock 9MM in the safe and purchased the wonderful Taurus Judge Public Defender, so at least I can dispatch a few, God forbid, in a pinch with adrenaline up and give mine a chance to escape. I suggest using the Federal Handgun round as its like sending out three .38 shots with each trigger pull enabling a 6 to 8 inch pattern at 10-15 feet. Not a pocket piece and heavy though certainly equalizes things.

I would imagine a Glock 9mm would be much more effective than the judge. I would rather have 12-17 9mm for 3 assailants than a few out of the Taurus. Different strokes I guess.

Well, up to about an hour ago I was carrying a Kahr CW9 in a Supertuck, but after a trip to the GunShop I now have a Glock 27w/a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC....Now I can switch between the two depending on my mood and dress!!!
