I carry the Taurus PT145 in either my nylon shoulder holster or Fobus paddle holster. Great and easily concealed gun for me anyways. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good carry gun. Small and high powered. What more is there to ask for?

    I have been carrying a S&W 638CT; but recently acquired a Kahr PM9.
If the situation calls for it, I can shoot the 638 SA with the CT with a good degree of accuracy at a distance, and it will still function great in DA.
I cannot understand why folks carry the completely hammerless guns and restrict themselves to DA only when (if time permits) the SA mode offers more accuracy especially in the snubby.
I plan on putting a CT on the PM9 and hope to get as accurate with it as with the 638. I see some practice time in my future; but the PM does offer one more round and much faster reload than does the revolver.

I recently received my CCDW and just purchased my first handgun. I own a 1911 Springfield EMP .9mm. I fell in love with it after taking a CCDW class taught by Keeping the Piece in Cental Kentucky.

I currently belong to a Woman's shooting club hosted by keeping the piece (See member: KeepingPiece) which teaches basic defensive skills. It's gone a long way with making me feel comfortable handling my gun and preparing me should I ever need it to defend myself.

Mission1, congratulations on your first handgun, on carrying it and on taking the course as well!! Mega kudos to you on that. An excellent choice of a carry handgun. And welcome to the forum!!
