Just got my Kahr CW9 with a Hogue Handall Jr. and simple Uncle Mikes holster for my EDC. Used to EDC an HK USP-C .40, but its difficult during the summer at times.

This is my current EDC Kimber Ultra CDP II with extra mag.
I also use a lot the Crossbreed Supertuck holster
But other than that this is it...

I keep a log, so thru this gun I have right now:
100 rounds of Carry ammo (Gold Dot)
    2,650 rounds FMJ

I have recently changed my carry pistol. I now carry a Gen 3 Glock 26 in a Desantis Sof-Tuck holster.

Since CCW doesn't go into effect in WI until 11/1 I am not carrying anything right now. BUT when the time does come I will be carrying a S&W M&P .40c in a Shielded Holsters Double Phalanx with Hornady Critical Defense Ammunition.

Getting proficient with that little .40 in the time being and having a blast doing it. :)

That's the way to do it!

Having the confidence in knowing that when, God-Forbid, if you ever have to draw, that you can actually hit what you're aiming for. That's the way to go.

Best of luck on your training!

Sig P229 in 9mm, FP 124 Hydra-Shok JHP. A Crossbreed Super-Tuck is on order. Until it arrives the Sig will have to stay OWB. And a SureFire E2D.

Point is that accuracy at the range means I am more likely to shoot it better in a real-world SD situation. Or do you actually think I was talking about going for head shots in a SD scenario?

I've got 4 carry guns total:

    - Springfield XD sub-compact 9mm, occasional carry (winter clothes)
    - Keltec PF9 9mm, occasional EDC
    - Taurus 738 TCP .380, pocket carry occasional use (the better to bring this than nothing gun when I'm just running to the store or walking the dog, etc)
    - Ruger LCR .38 special, primary EDC. I like a revolver due to the low chance of malfunction and the "just works" design of the thing. The downside is round count and reload speed, so its a trade-off.

I carry OWB at 3-4 o'clock mainly, except for the TCP which is pocket-only. I do have a Desantis Superfly pocket holster for the PF9 but haven't used it yet. I bought a couple of IWB holsters, and I just can't get comfortable with them at all.

To start it will be my 4003 in my Theis holster since our law doesn't go into effect until Nov cover garments will be easy enough for winter in WI.

I'm hoping to get a compact 3rd Gen smith for summer sometime over the winter/spring. Something like a 4516,4013, 3913.
