KelTec P3AT.380 in summer when others are too bulky and noticeable under light clothing.
    Otherwise a KelTec PF9 or
    Glock .26, or
    Glock .40 S&W or
    1911 .45 or
    Taurus 745 or
    S&W Mod 66 .357 2 3/4 " bbl.
There are times in certain areas where I would like to carry my combat model Remington 870 but haven't found a conceal carry holster for it yet. ;)

    A question about ballistics

I have two serious carry guns, but am wanting a true pocket pistol for when I just go jogging or out back behind my woods without having to strap one on. I was thinking of an American Arms .22 mag 5 shot, or a Cobra .38 spcl 2 shot derringer. I realize neither is ideal for serious self defense work, but they are both small enough to be a true 'throw in the pocket' gun, and are better by far than nothing. Which one would be more advisable? I know nothing about either of these. I have always been a dyed-in-the-wool Colt .45 or S&W .357 man when it comes to self defense handguns. Still am, but would really like the practicality of one of these.

    Any opinions?

    Glock 17

I carry a G17 IWB but I'm planning on moving to OWB once I get my new belt and holster.

Thinking about getting a G19 to carry something a little smaller.

At present primary is a XD45 full size, 2 extra mags all with critical defense ammo. Backup is a Sig 232 with 1 extra mag with critical defense ammo plus 1 med. tactical folder and 1 small tactical folder plus a Streamlight PT-2AA with strobe

I either conceal a Sig Sauer P290 or a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380, both loaded with Speer Gold Dot ammo. I also conceal a North American Arms Pug 22 Magnum pistol loaded with CCI TNT ammo at all times as a backup. Some people claim 22 magnum is weak, I'd hate to be shot with one.

Same here.... Took my CM9 to the range over the weekend and broke her in good... Awesome little powerhouse. My S&W 638 is in the briefcase for a change.

I carry a HK P2000 9mm LEM. Just purchased a Glock 19 which I may put into the carry rotation once I get some rounds through it.

Just think, if this thread had been started as a Poll how much information would have been easily available with the click of a mouse. You would have the preferred choice of weapons of the members by brand and type.
