For our hot south Texas shorts and T-shirt weather, I tuck a Kahr P45 in a frontal deep concealment Thunderwear combo holster. For cross-country driving in slacks and sportshirt, I prefer to have my Bodyguard Airweight ready for action in a Bobby Mac EL-CID cross draw holster. Respective defensive loads are the high-velocity RBCD 45ACP 90 gr. TFSP (2036 fps/828 flbs), and the RBCD .38 Spl. 60 gr. TFSP (1705 fps/385 flbs).

As a fellow S&W fan, I like this carry choice very much!Just made the switch to an S&W 3953 from an XDSC9. The S&W fits my hand and waist much better. Loving the smooth DAO as well. May get one or two more for spares/parts.

While on R&R from my current tour in Afghanistan, I ordered a Kimber Pro Crimson Carry with laser grip and a XDm 4.5" .45 Bi-Tone and usually carried the Kimber because it was easier to conceal. I now only carry OWB. The Kimber is just an amazing pistol to look at and shoots and distributes weight phenomenally.
